Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 Preloaded with BlackBerry OS 5 in UK

It’s starting a little ridiculous now: Walt Mossberg reviews the BlackBerry Storm 2 in advance of any official confirmation RIM themselves that the device actually exists, Vodafone UK today announced that it will be the first network offers second-generation touchscreen smartphone. Available to preorder from today, and deliveries should commence in October 26th, 2 Vodafone BlackBerry Storm 9520, the price of free with a new plan is £ 35/mo ($ 56) upwards.

The display is a 3:25-inch 360 x 480 resolution and uses the RIM updated SurePress touch system.

9520 Storm 2 will come preloaded with BlackBerry OS 5, with different touch-minded improvements, such as the inertial scrolling numbers and easier choice. We expect Verizon to announce their version at any moment, and who knows, maybe RIM will have something to say. [via slashgear]
