Samsung R1 Beat Portable Media Player

Samsung Electronics announced the launch of the new portable media player ‘R1′. R1 Beat The Samsung player is the thinnest and lightest media player with DivX compatibility, allowing users to play the content without the need to convert the files. The R1 will be available in Europe in September, with other markets such as Russia, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan to follow.

The Samsung 8.9mm thickness and 50g simple R1 is lightweight enough to allow users to put the device in their portfolios, without compromising ease of use, durability and performance. DivX also is the first MP3 player with a dynamic certificate, 2.6 inch touch screen.The R1 features the TouchWiz user interface, the popular user interface of Samsung mobile phones touch full screen. Easy “Drag and drop operations to give users the freedom to enjoy audio and video collections anywhere, anytime.

Samsung DNSe 3.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine) ensure the highest possible sound quality. Samsung’s new multimedia player also comes with a “Beat DJ function, which allows users to add their own voices and sound effects to your favorite songs. With this single application, users can also “zero” record in the super-clear 2.6-inch screen to create custom music. The R1 is available with a choice of 8GB or 16GB of memory.
