Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 Android Smartphone
Samsung announced at CTIA 2010 with the Galaxy S GT-I9000 Android smartphone, which is one of the most powerful Android device on the market. Like Nexus One / HTC Desire, the new Galaxy phone is supported by a 1GHz processor and run the Android OS 2.1.
At only 9.9mm thick, sporting 4 S Galaxy Super inch AMOLED touchscreen display with mDNIe [mobile Digital Natural Image engine] technology to sharper and crisper image; a 5 Megapixel camera with auto focus, smile shot, panorama shot and video recording HD 720p and built-in A-GPS support. GT-I9000 supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Has 8GB or 16GB of internal memory and supports microSD up to 32GB.
Samsung Galaxy S works on quad-band GSM / EDGE and tri-band 7.2Mbps HSDPA 3G network. This will be available in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, and Asia soon. The device measures 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9mm and weighs 118g.[via itechnews]
