Samsung Digital ST Series Ultra Compact Digital Camera

Samsung Digital Imaging Company today announced two new ultra-compact digital camera, ideal for customers who want a stylish, on-the-Go Camera for parties, family celebrations and other festive moments. At only 0.65 inches thin, 14.2-megapixel 12.2 megapixels ST70 and ST60 equipped with 2.7-inch LCD screen and 5x optical zoom and 4x optical zoom, respectively.

Samsung new models are equipped with better wide-angle lens 27 mm (for ST70) and 27.5 mm wide angle lens (for ST60) in comparison with its predecessor, St50. ST70 has a versatile 5x optical zoom, which is associated with dual image stabilization (IS) to help reduce blur through a combination of optical and digital image stabilization for sharp images. ST60 offers a wide 4x optical zoom and digital image stabilization feature.

New photo effects are available with the ST70 and ST60, as the Lomo Fisheye and allow consumers to easily add a touch of creativity to their photos. As with other compact cameras, Samsung, this duo has a long list of user-selectable Picture Styles: Normal, Soft, Vivid, Forest, Retro, Cool, Calm, Classic, Negative, Custom RGB and two new options: a Sketch DeFog Clear / Lifting fog, cuts through the haze to a clear picture.

ST70 and ST60 to convert high-definition video recording to the palms of their hands of users, based on its ability to integrate video with a resolution of 720p / 30fps using the H.264 compression. Addition, the ability of users the best video simpler cameras offer advanced scene recognition technology, Samsung, Smart Car (Still & Movie). Smart Car is an upgrade from St50, it can be used with video and photos. Like technology analyzes the composition of the image capturing digital images, it’s the same technology for video, it automatically selects one of four presets and selecting the institutions to provide the best images right exposure and color balance. ST70 and ST60 will be available in February 2010.
