Palm EOS Release Are Delayed Until 2010

Since the introduction of the Pre Palm, analysts have been all over it. For better and worse, as no one can show whether the Pre makes any progress in the market, as it is returned to alarming rates or not, or if people are even happy with their devices.

Palm EOS Release Are Delayed Until 2010

Anyway, the pre is not the only device to lower the pipeline handling the webOS, but those pesky analysts, it’s looking like the Eos is not shown itself until 2010. There were rumors that the Palm Eos (code name Pixie) would arrive some time the holiday season this year, but it is exactly when the device will not hit the shelves of AT & T until next year.

Ilya Grozovsky, an analyst for Morgan Joseph said: “We think that Pixie, which we believe is appropriate for AT & T and has a different shape than the Pre, is unlikely to be available for the 2009 season, in a research note to clients. It is noted that Palm will have to press the Eos very hard if they want profitabillity against Apple’s iPhone, especially the $ 99 model.

It is worth noting that many believe that the Palm Eos will be available from $ 99, but as carriers here in the States granting love, that may mean that the $ 99 after a mail-in rebate, which would immediately put up the iPhone 3G in price, and probably convince prospective customers away. Anyway, webOS retrieve some more equipment, if Palm wants a robust operating system to start in the hands of more customers. Anyway, we can not wait to see when it happens. [slashgear]
