NEC has released another eco friendly Full HD monitor in the form of the AccuSync AS231WM. This new 23 inch monitor is compatible with Energy Star 5.0, 5.0 and EPEAT Silver TCO, and consumes 50% less energy compared to regular monitors of the same size.

In terms of performance, offering AS231WM 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 16:9 contrast ratio of 1000:1, brightness of 250 cd/m2, response time of 5ms and a D-Sub and DVI -D connectors. The AccuSync AS231WM will be available in May for an estimated retail price of $ 269.[via techfresh]
