Magellan RoadMate 1700 GPS Navigation Device
Magellan, a part of MiTAC, introduced the RoadMate 1700 GPS navigation device that comes with a 7-inch WVGA touchscreen. The RoadMate 1700 has lane highway assistance, counseling pronounced the name, street multi-destination routing with route optimization, and integrated AAA Tour Book travel guide information.
New Magellan GPS device is preloaded with maps of the 50 United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. It has mini-USB 2.0 port and a slot for Micro SD card. There is a video jack for connecting an iPod or other video to watch a video on the bright 7-inch screen.The Magellan RoadMate 1700 is priced at $ 299. [via itechnews]
