Eye-Fi VHE-1 Wireless Cards 2GB FTP Support

Eye-Fi cards are unique because they can use your wireless digital camera to connect to a wireless network for direct transfer of photos. Photos are generally to photo sharing sites like Flickr. It seems that Eye-Fi cards now have the option of FTP file so you any limitations Flickr and other companies around.

All you need to go to this one FTP server (you can use your computer at home one), or use a Web server when you run a website, and an Eye-Fi card which supports Online Sharing (there are different versions Eye-Fi cards are available, so you may not have the correct type for this).

The makers of the Eye-Fi have some simple instructions to get FTP working, and when you are not 100% sure of the security you have the option of a secure FTP service (SFTP).
