Canon IVIS HF21 and HF S11 Full-HD Digital Camcorders

Canon announced in Japan, and IVIS HF21 and HF S11 Full-HD digital camcorders, both with 64 GB of internal memory. You can use video in the AVCHD to 24Mbps Full HD resolution of MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. Both camcorders are equipped with Canon DIGIC III image processor DV. The IVIS HF21 features a 1/4-inch CMOS sensor 3.89 megapixels and a 15x optical zoom.

It offers a 60x digital zoom. IVIS HF S11, a 8.59-megapixel 1/2.6-inch sensor, a 10-fold optical zoom and a 40x digital zoom. Both offer optical stabilization, and face detection.

With internal memory of 64 GB, this camcorder can be six hours Full HD video and it is an SD card slot for expansion. Both IVIS IVIS HF21 and HF-S11 features a 2.7-inch LCD screen, an HDMI output and a USB port. It will be published in August 2009.
