Asus Eee PC 701 2GB RAM Touch Screen Netbook

Creative Modder successfully modified his Asus Eee PC 701. He added netbook with 2GB RAM, touch screen, TV and speakers. Last weekend a circular advertised Vista-powered laptop equipped with a Celeron processor, 14.1-inch display, 80GB hard drive and DVD-ROM for only $ 399 For the same price.

Asus Eee PC offers the same amount of RAM and Celeron processor but a smaller seven-inch screen, pathetic 4 gigabytes of storage space and no DVD drive. And yet there is no way for this two-pound wonder for a “normal” notebook. Eee PC may be designed to appeal to children and older customers, but it should also tempt anyone looking for lightweight budget PC that weighs next to nothing and connects to the Internet easily.
