Alpine has recently launched its latest 2 DIN receiver,the IXA W407 Digital Media Station,which sports iPod/iPhone play with a large 7 inch QVGA touchscreen display,a built in Bluetooth connectivity,an AM/FM tuner and a high Speed USB input for an optimum iPod / iPhone connector. The IXA W407 navigation functions are provided by the Alpine NVE M300,a compact external drive installed in one way location,such as hiding behind the dashboard.

The OnPoint advanced GPS positioning using simultaneously three technologies [satellite linked GPS data, solid state gyro sensor technology and accelerometer technology] to provide more accurate navigation. Maps and driving maneuvers are displayed on the IXA W407’s 7 inch display,while the voice guided directions are played through the car audio system.Priced at $ 1100,the IXA W407 is available as an all in one audio/video/navigation system package that the NVE M300 disc includes GPS navigation.[vianavigadget]
